I biked 75 miles today with my camera in my jersey pocket. When I was about 20 miles from home, I realized that I hadn't taken any photos today. I thought about photographing my shadow while I rode, but I didn't want to stop to get the camera out and slow down while taking the pictures. I was hungry and just wanted to get home. The shadows on this bridge were so striking that I had to stop in the middle to capture them.
I really appreciated the sun today after so many days of rain and clouds. Finally I could see shadows again! This was perfect biking weather. Now I am ready to bike the 80 mile White's Ferry loop on Monday 10/17. I hope the weather is warm and sunny like today.
