I noticed the reflections in this puddle as I biked past it but didn't think quick enough to stop. After a few seconds I turned around and went back to photograph it with my iPhone. I had to wait for a car driving thru the puddle before I could take the shot. I was afraid it would park on top of the puddle, but instead the car did me a favor because it made ripples obscuring the light post that was reflected in the far side of the puddle.
Unfortunately the car was an unmarked police car. The officer gave me a very strange look when I stopped to take a photograph and then told me and another cyclist to pull over so he could give us a talking-to for running the stop sign. Next time it will be a citation. I am pretty sure he didn't see me doing the U-turns and mistook me for the cyclist ahead of me, but I'm glad I didn't have to prove it.
