@365projectorgjenfurj It was a very overcast day ... I figured perfect for a shallow depth of field... it really made him stand out... owls are amazing animals and I am so fortunate to work with them...
@cottiac Screechies are my favorite bird of prey...... and I am very very lucky to work where I do ... I must have done something right somewhere in my life to have this opportunity to work there.
@jeanniec57 The opposite must be true for me - just been out to rescue an injured Buzzard (our biggest Bird of Prey) but it disappeared and despite tramping the field of 3 acres for over an hour I still couldn't find it!
@cottiac That sucks... I have been there many times tramping all over in search of injured wildlife... the good news is it's a big bird and someone might spot it and be able to nab it... good thing about buzzards...they don't have talons... but they will vomit on whomever grabs them. Nice defense mechanism!
