Every day we are called out on emergencies for animals in distress. The local hospital called and one of the nurses saw this young owl acting odd under a tree and asked us to check it out.
When I arrived I noticed the dialated pupil (sign of dehydration) and he was super skinny which he should not be this time of year!
He is receiving supportive care at my work under my boss's supervision.
