Memories

Spent quite a bit of time with some old friends who were staying nearby for a week. Today we all went for a walk on Stiffkey Saltmarshes, ending up at the Rescue Wooden Boats centre. It's based in what used to be the Officers Mess of Stiffkey Anti-Aircraft Gunnery Camp. It must be almost 40 years since I was last inside this particular building and back then it was almost derelict. But this iconic fireplace was instantly recognisable!
