Shooting at 8,000 ISO was only a fantasy when I worked for the newspaper. Even five years ago it was more than the mid-range DSLR cameras could really handle. Now it is usable. Not great - I still run the Nik dFine 2 filter for noise reduction, but it is good enough for small reproduction in the yearbook.
