Art Skull

teacher "Data Day" meant a lot of meetings and little productivity on the creative side. Then the principal told me to go to the art room to discuss some budget items. After a few minutes I spotted the still life display in the art teacher's room. The light was flat, and even thought he offered to turn on the floodlight to give contrast and shadows, I shot it available light, knowing I would use the John S. lens and Black Keys film. Then I shook the camera to randomize the settings and shot again.

Of course Hipstamtic crashed again as I was walking out, and the only version that saved was the random one. Which had color.

I imported the image into Lightroom, set it to black and white, then applied a new trick in the Print tab that I picked up from a Ben Willmore video on Creative Live.com. I added a watermark and then figured out how to add a stroke to the image.
