Almost daily I pass the Ranch Kitchen. The restaurant has had a couple of owners and been opened and closed several times over the years. This time it has been closed for several months now. Yet the pair of horses, one on each side of the sign, still rear up trapped in their never ending pose.
I have thought multiple times that the horses need to be photographed, that there are things like this along Route 66 that I can make photos of and today I saw the late afternoon sun hitting the one horse and took 10 minutes to make some images. I shot first with my iPhone but this needed more glass, more tonal range, so I used the Nikon.
