Wild Flowers by jeffjones

Wild Flowers

I got a new lighting tool today and gave it a test run. It is a triple strobe bracket from Scott Robert Lim and a shoot-through umbrella. I mounted three SB-800 flash units together, connected a pocket wizard radio to them (the unit fires all three flashes from a single radio) and set my shot up with the umbrella about 8" from the flowers.

The flashes were on 1/4 power, so I got fast recycle time, and the three flashes in a circle makes a larger light source so it is more diffused. The camera was handheld and shot with an aperture of f/20. Then I used the NIK plug in to add a bit of contrast to the image.
Lovely lowkey and dusky tones
