Having heard someone from English Heritage talk about the superstitions linked to 12th night only being 19th and 20 century inventions and the original Christmas being 40 days until Candlemas on 2nd Feb we have decided to keep our Christmas going a bit longer and will leave our tree up. We need some joy in our lives given the current 6weeks of confinement!
