wayside inn grist mill by jernst1779

wayside inn grist mill

This grist mill opened on Thanksgiving Day 1929. According to their website (wayside.org): "The mill is water-powered, and uses two separate grinding-stones to produce the corn meal and wheat flour that is used in Longfellow's Wayside Inn's baked goods."
It's a lovely place to visit and you can sit on the grounds by the stream and have a picnic or just enjoy the scenery.
A beautiful setting...rocks, that fence line and a waterfall...charming
