wadding white by jerome

wadding white

Image of my last mountain hike last weekend.
I was on my way back to the valley.

I like being in the mountains. I am then more in myself. In the mountains I meet something timeless. The sky is different there, the smells, the light, the wind, the rocks, the grasses and the flowers. The concerns are less up there - they get smaller, like the houses, on which one looks down from above. This picture was taken on my way back from a peak in the federal states of Salzburg. This area is a part of the Austrian Alps. There is a lot of beautiful hiking trails and climbing routes. Many I've hiked. The fascination for the mountains has increased with me. If I'm not a long time in the mountains, I am overcome by a great desire for them.
those clouds are stunning. this is great in sepia and I love the way you"ve created a sense of scale by including the trees and hut. Being in nature is like honouring your soul. Yes, you do feel more alive, more at ease and happier when you are wandering around in mother nature's glory.

Very pleasing image! I enjoy the gentle slope of the land with the small building and trees dwarfed by the colossal cloud. Also nicely processed in a sepia tone. Well done!
