The Bohemian Forest is not far from my birthplace. Sometimes I stay there several days. This is a nice place for hiking - both in summer and winter.

You know the Bohemian forest - that's very nice!
I know the place around the Plöckenstein quite well. Bark beetles have attacked there the trees a few years ago. Since then you have a very beautiful, unobstructed view into the distance.
