It would be nice if I could be daily in the mountains. But I have a job that demands me. When I finally can be in the mountains, I usually see so much of interesting on the way. Sometimes I come home with more, sometimes with less shots. And these pictures I load up.
I hope this approach is o.k.

Thank you for your kind words! But my pictures are just a mat shimmer of what I see and feel in the mountains. I wish you could feel a soft mountain breeze on your cheeks, grip the rocks with your hands, experience the morning light gleameing from the darkness and conquering the peaks and slopes,...
The long shadow create a captivating and intriguing pattern, since we don't know what is creating them. How lovely to see the path and the detail and the ordinary becoming extraordinary. It feels to us like you live in the mountains - I can hardly imagine you going off to work in an office or anything similar! But of course, it is so lovely to see all the pictures of the places you love and draw from most of all.
Wonderfully composed - the tones you chose to process really are perfect for this early morning shot - wonderful focus, yet a nice softness to the scene. Fav
@helenhall Thank you for your kind words!
The long shadows? It was very early in the morning when I took this picture. The sun had just been rising above the horizon. So it was very low and even small elevations then cast long shadows. In this case the tufts of grass along the path casted these long shadows.
Thank you for your nice comments!

Dear Louise, there ist no snow. The bright spots are limestone pebbles, illuminated by the morning sun.
