The danger of avalanches: There was no risk of avalanches in these hills on the photo. For this the slopes are too little steep. However, you should be extremely cautious aside from secured paths.
First rule of thumb: In case of doubt, do not start or turn back.
Second rule of thumb: There is no second rule of thumb.
