Thank you very much to be put on TT by so many kind people! Thank you for your so nice attention and your favs!
@mona65 Thanks, Mona! How nice your visit. Postalm... very close to St. Wolfgang... a beautiful place, on a magical lake surrounded by mountains... Many dear greetings!
@cmp You learned to ski there - very nice!
Postalm is a good place for the first experiences on skis. Most of the slopes are not very steep. I myself have stopped skiing a few years ago. It has become too dangerous for me. Also too expensive. In winter I often go with my snow boots.

Thank you for your nice comment, Debby!
The light - it is often a matter of luck. But you're right: sometimes 2 minutes are crucial. Sometimes even 2 seconds... or less.
And I make a lot of rubbish when shooting (but I do not show it).
Such an extraordinary photo...I think I need to have something that automatically says your photo is excellent....as every one I have ever seen of yours is.
@hrs So nice what you say... A hearty thanks, Helen! :)
I am really happy when one of my pictures triggers a resonance. This is a wonderful experience.
But in my attempts, there is also less good. And failure is part of the human. Often many interpretationes arise during a processing. Questions and doubts are constant companions: What is the basic idea of the picture... light-dark? A certain colour tone? Perhaps graphically linear...? This place a little brighter... or darker? How does this affect the entire image? More contrast or less...? This shape... should it be more powerful... or gentle and soft? How much does it need from this colour ... or should I omit it...? Do the proportions fit?... The ponderation in the picture?... I try and hope...
My best wishes to Australia! You know I visited it last year. What a strong country!!!
