Spitzkoppe

Spitzkoppe is a mountain on the way from Swakopmund to Omaruru. It is the mountain you can see left in the background. Interesting are the rock formations on the way there. The rock arch is about five body-high, so you can walk very easily upright under it.

The rock massif is made of granite stone and belongs to the Erongo Mountains. There are very old rock paintings, but unfortunately they were destroyed by vandalism.
The unique landscape invites you to go hiking and climbing.
