@jerome Our neighbor has a very old gnarly looking Eucalyptus tree that grow over into our backyard. It is the favorite climbing lookout tree for Katniss!
@jerome We have a lot of eucalyptus along the California coast! So these beautiful trees are also along the Californian coast. I did not know that. They have such expressive gestures and a beautiful bark. However the shapes and colours can be very different. I saw huge specimens and vast eucalyptus forests in Australia. These are exceptionally interesting trees. I love them.

Eucalyptus - a wonderful tree. It survives bushfire and apparently lives "in symbiosis" with it.
