They look quite cute, but smell terrible when you get a huge colony of them.

Bata?, I thought... Those look like bats! Aren't the fruit bats huge and quite wonderful to see?! Marvelous image Jerome!

Oh my...some of them look like pups! I might feel differently if they were flying at me though! The wings are amazing and the way they hang upside down.

No worries Jerome, you're forgiven. They sure are weird-looking critters.

Oh, truly, aren't the Australian animals incredibly unique?! We've been to Australia several times, and we've never ceased to be awe-struck by the flora and fauna! And did you get to hear Bell Birds singing? They're incredible! And at the other end of the spectrum, to be awakened in the morning to the Kookaburra's laugh!
May 13th, 2017
These are the cutest looking little things. Wonderful photograph.
May 13th, 2017
@Weezilou Yes, I tried to capture the wonderful colours and forms of the unique nature in Australia, the voices of the birds and the ocean, the smell of the eucalyptus leaves and the wind above the sandy beach. They are lasting impressions.
