upper terminus

You can easily reach this place by cable car. From there you have a very nice view over the mountain range of the Alps. You see stairs that are fit in the rock. So even tourists wearing just light shoes can walk on the mountain.
But the summit of the mountain is reached only after crossing the glacier and climbing the steep slope with a suitable climbing equipment.

The early morning light floods the peaks and the clouds. Good weather conditions for a tour.

Anytime there's such a big restaurant on a mountaintop, you know there's a cablecar for the masses to get there. :) But your composition presents it in context beautifully.
