When I climb a mountain, I often pause for a moment to feel the present. Then I try to assimilate the gifts of the mountain: the silence, the vastness, the drifting clouds, the scent of a gentle summer wind, the warm morning light that floods the slopes and the meadows...
It's rather tragic that so many "trudge" through their days without making all their senses aware as you have here! Your photography is always so beautiful, and I do believe it's in part (or greatly) because you are drinking in all the nuances of your presence in the moment! Just a lovely, serene view.
Die Vergangenheit ist weg, morgen ist nicht versprochen, aber heute ist ein Geschenk. Der Moment zu stoppen und zu genießen ist im Leben so wichtig. Hübsches Foto.
@Weezilou You are right - the job, the obligations of everyday life: Often there is no time for contemplative moments that let us live completely in the here and now. Where we feel ourselves and in harmony with what surrounds us. Some people do not look for the inner concentration in their spare time but the distraction. I also have little time for myself at the moment. And I'm not feeling well about it. I dig in old pictures and try to make them come alive in me. To remind me of a gentle summer wind... of a magical morning light... of the silence in the mountains...
@casablanca Ja, du hast recht: Nur den Augenblick in der Gegenwart haben wir. Das Gestern verweht... und was morgen ist, wissen wir nicht...
