like the waves on the sand by jerome

like the waves on the sand

The wind sometimes creates peculiar shapes of snow and ice. The photo reminds me of sea waves ebbing on a beach.

I think you need to have an exhibition, you have so many beautiful images

Ja, das ist wie ein Strand mit Wellen, die das Ufer umspĆ¼len.

Could easily be the foam ridden waves that surge in with big stirms out to sea. Lovely to see.

I'm very interested in similarities in nature forms - like these shapes of snow and ocean waves on a beach or sand dunes in the desert. I think there is a common breath in everything.

great abstract!

I too am fascinated by the similarities in natural forms and that's one of the reasons I find this image so appealing. I like the abstract nature of it too.

@jerome Now there's an interesting thought, I'll ponder further.

Beautifully composed.

@nicolecampbell Thank you, Nicole, for your nice suggestion!
An exhibition - a nice idea. I would have to invest money in a printing. The format should have a certain size (I think of an edge length of 70-100cm) for the pictures to work; and I'm thinking about prints on acrylic. That has its price.
I am also thinking of a book - with a good text... also a thought that I have had for a long time... ;)

@dulciknit Thank you, Alison, for your kind words!
I think there is so much to discover in nature that science takes no notice of. Science has its meaning - but it's not everything, I mean. Who should measure "beauty", pour it in numbers... what should a symphony by Beethoven "prove" ... can the world be represented in a formula...? Love, sense,... they make the world humane. I think that should not be forgotten.
I think, much could be discovered in the many similarities and relationships in the aesthetic in nature.
