The demands of the professional and everyday life have increased. Times are not easy and the job is very stressful. Unfortunately, I do not have the energy and time to devote myself to this great community as I would like.
Photography has a special meaning for me, as well as the encounter with so many nice people who are enthusiastic about images. The exceedingly friendly attentions and inspiring opinions of you are a genuine enrichment to me. What a picture can be, what it can say and express, that it can sound a string at heart, can be experienced daily and constantly anew in this unique community.
Every picture is like a journey - a traveling with lines, shapes, chiaroscuro and colours. It shows what we think and feel while looking at this world. Warm thanks for the many beautiful journeys and the many deeply impressive encounters!
Of course I will come every now and then, make a short visit...

Sorry to see you go but hopefully only for a short while, I can sympathise with your predicament. Even as a retired person, my days are full and my endeavours to post an image are more difficult due to time constraints rather than the capturing of an image.

My working conditions have become much more difficult lately, the tone rougher. I really hope that things will improve in the foreseeable future - so that I have more leisure time for taking pictures and that my thoughts can flow more freely.

I remember very well my first postings in this community. How extremely nice and friendly I was received and admitted since day one. I could not imagine that so many well-disposed and cordial people are gathering - and everyone enjoys photography! I'm still wondering about it. Almost unbelievable. This community is really unique.
It is wonderful to experience so many individual perspectives in photography and expressions in creating images. But I did not only learn a lot from photography, but also from personal encounters. These are very precious experiences for me.
