By the way: I think the red garment is not a skirt but a jacket. As is often the case with walking and hiking, you knot a jacket on the sleeves around your waist when it gets too warm.
For me, this jacket was a stroke of luck. It creates a nice colour accent in contrast to the many greens. In addition to colour, the chiaroscuro plays a major role in the composition.
