It took me a while to adjust to the Cornflower after 40 years of the Poppy. 17 years here has enabled us to learn and live le bleuet.

@s4sayer Thank you, Margo. I saw the solitary poppy amid the wild flowers at the meadow, searched for the best angle to include les bleuets. I'm pretty happy with this which has been printed and sold in support of our local RBL branch.

@susiemc Many thanks, Sue. I saw the poppies at the Tower of London just before the last one was "planted" but any of my photos from that day seemed to be a little too strong. When I learnt about les bleuets I needed something like this one and was delighted when I found it in "tomorrow's ancient wood-meadow" 24 acres of former barley field where I now spend many happy hours chasing butterflies & dragons.
