At 12.28, I checked the Holly Blue egg hoping for signs of hatching - there they were.
At 16.49.07 (precise, eh?) I could see the tiny head inside the open egg.
A bit off balance so I was a few seconds too late to see the 1mm caterpillar emerge from the egg, but the last shot is at 16.50.30 and it's eating it's way into the flower bud.
The photos are poor quality but the content is not. I'm not always as steady as I'd like to be, sadly.
