We went to Newcastle's quayside tonight to see the Olympic torch relay. Bear Grylls zip-wired with the torch from the yellow cable (just visible on the girder above the black ring) across the Tyne. It was all very exciting but extremely busy so I didn't get many decent shots. The rings on the Tyne bridge looked very effective though. It was closed to traffic and high enough for no-one's head to get in my shot!!
Very crisp, and those rings are so vibrant, nice shot, I have to wait until 19th July for my glimpse of the torch, I find it exciting to be hosting the games.
