Despite cold temperatures, we have two visiting villages for basketball this weekend! One team flew in 90 miles and the other came in sleds/snow-go's from 8 miles away. (Our school district has 11 villages spread out over the size of the state of Indiana!)
Interesting shot! I find it difficult getting an in focus basketball shot. I need a lot of help with this. My son played today with another recreation team from our town . . . amazing how the children in Alaska do the same thing on a Saturday, but have such a different commute!
@barbtim Hey Barb! This was just with my iPhone and they were standing still talking to their coach! I loved all the colorful shoes! When I'm taking action shots for our yearbook I use my Canon and just put it on the Sports/burst setting. Last weekend I rapid-fired about 1,200 shots just to get some decent focused ones!!
your school district is HUGE! guess I shouldn't be surprised ~ it IS Alaska ;)
