Nearly Done

No tooling this time - just oiled leather. The one on the right is done. The other is waiting for its butter & olive oil rub down.
Great to see the contrast between the finished and unfinished. Do you cut and stitch these as well as treat the leather?

This is my husband's handiwork, Andie. And yes, he cuts "from scratch" custom fitted to the pistols. He's working on these for a co-worker who has admired his work for a long time. He punches each stitch hole, stitches with waxed flax thread, burnishes the edges and oils or stains them last.
