Another side-effect of life off the "road system" is that we can't stop at the store for fresh things every day, so a lot of our diet comes from dehydrated items. Mushroom soup for dinner tonight!
we had some of these issues when we lived in Central Australia 40 years ago. The train bringing our fresh food and milk was often held up. The mushrooms look surprisingly good
@sitiodown We're going to add some caribou to the leftovers today = "enhanced mushroom soup!" @cruiser Well, funny you should say that Chris - we are STILL waiting for a plane to bring in some (no-longer) fresh organic produce - it's been delayed since Wednesday because of snow storms, so I don't expect much in the way of freshness!!
