A pond, actually, but the kids call it The Lake and the tundra stretching far, far beyond. They like to dare me to walk on the ice because they know it makes me really nervous! (I ham it up a bit, for their entertainment!) ;-)
I like all your pictures very much and this again has a wonderful composition and a great pov. And I think you must be a wonderful person for the children. I have also learned a new phrase. Ham it up, ... 365 project, it is a bit like your Inupiaq "word of the day" training for me. :-)
I think I'd be a bit nervious of the ice on the pond too although I expect it is quit thick. I am fascinated by you way of life and all things Alaskan. would love to be able to go there one day
@francoise I DID need sunglasses! Had a splitting headache when we got back! @chris17 Thank you! @helly31 Thanks, Helen. :-) @aglennc Thanks Anita. We have a spare room! :-) @mona65 "Ham it up" means to exaggerate or overact - my students love it when I do that! Thanks for your kind comments, Mona. :-)
