Arctic Sunrise

Went to the post office on my lunch "hour" today at 11:00 am - sun was just coming up, so I caught it with my trusty iPhone.

It wasn't much brighter here this morning at the same time Joan, but nowhere near as much atmosphere as this!

That is just so hard for me to comprehend Joan. I totally understand it, but have never experienced a sunrise that late in the day. But it is beautiful no matter what time it is. :)

Beautiful Joan. My sunrises and sunsets consist of rooftops and a teasing glimpse of light I take the time to plan otherwise.

I go to school in the absolute pitch dark, and it's pitch dark again by the time I leave at 4:30. But no worries, soon it will be daylight 24/7!
