Great Horned Owl, holding his ground, just glaring at us! I'm not much of a bird person, but this valley is just full of amazing bird life and I am constantly amazed by their beauty. I may become a bird person!
I always associate owls with hooting and hunting at night, so I find it a little surprising to see this one at ease in broad daylight... thanks for sharing.
