This sucks, and so do I. by jgoldrup

This sucks, and so do I.

I did mean to focus on the wet window of the ferry and not the buildings ahead. But I didn't mean for this to be my only shot of the day. I don't even have plants to take care of, so I'm really not sure how those of you with jobs, wee kids and pets manage to do this project too. I need a new strategy.

Edits: None. Why would I even try to make this better....it is already craptastic.
I think it is wonderfully craptastic. Actually, it is the best craptastic picture ever! If craptastic had a contest you would win. I'm not sure if that is going to make you feel any better about it being what it is but atleast it will make you smile :p

What is this craptastic that you speak of? Isn't this the "rainy" effect in picnik? ;) I, for one, annoint this "cool" and plan on trying it myself. :) Now, where did I put that ferry........

You should have saved this for the crappy photo challenge!! Except, oddly, I like it. So it probably wouldn't have won.

@slang Maid of the Mist too far away...? If your cam is waterproof, that is.

This is not crap, sorry. I like how the skyline looks through the wet window.

If this is crap... Then I guess I'm a crap lover?

Count me in as one who thinks this is great! If you hadn't mentioned the rainy window I would have thought you'd done some processing to make it look like a weathered, beaten-up old photo. I feel like I've been in a bit of a crappy rut lately too because I haven't been spending the time on this project that I usually do. Sometimes life intervenes.

I like the wet look of it. Looks almost Maritime like. :-) I think it's good

@janmaki ~But you noticed it was crooked, right? ;)

@jgoldrup haha , I thought it was the 'artsy crook' trick ;)

I think it is actually quite good..(Heres why) It seems like you meant to take it....and the bravery of posting it...then even doing a schpeel about it..Well done.

Craptastic, love it...I'd love to get my mits on this, I get great processing results on PS when I've shot something through a dirty/wet window.

@chewyteeth You want to try and fix this? If you feel the need to, go ahead. I think you can download various versions of it from the 'view more sizes' link in the top right box. Well, I think I remember someone telling someone else it could be done.

@jgoldrup ha I won't nick it, but you can get some interesting effects through a window

I tried to post a link which didn't work, but my pic from the 31st of March was taken through a dirty window on a train.
