[A]lmost [a]n [a]ccident.

Note to self: When bike is very wet and surface is very wet, brake sooner and slower than usual.

I received some camera goodies in the mail. One was a reverse macro adaptor ring. I still had to take about 40 shots just to get a few that had some parts in focus, but at least I wasn't worried about dropping my lens. This is part of my bike, with one of my windows and oil seen in/on the water droplets. Another alphabet challenge, coming your way. Hopefully.
oooh awesome! i want some of those. were you able to get the ones on amazon? or somewhere else?

Yay for RM rings! Takes some getting used to and I've found it's less frustrating in bright sunlight. Great first shot! Hope you weren't almost smooshed due to wet brakes :)

I love my reverse macro thingy! Hard to master it at first but it can be done! @laurentye I ordered mine from amazon!

@meggageg hmmmm i recall trying to order them and not being able to because it wasn't able to be shipped to canada...or something like that.

@laurentye I found the same thing. Got mine from a US ebay store. Ring and a UV filter for just over $20!
Where did you end up getting yours Janna? How long did it take?

@shutterbugger thanks Jenn, i think then maybe i will try ebay, unless Janna has found hers somewhere within canada...

@laurentye Ah, bummer well hopefully Janna can help ya out.

@laurentye @shutterbugger Yep, on ebay. Fotodiox out of Illinois (link below for kit lens size). Was pretty quick - I was worried the postal strike would mess it up for me, but didn't. Jenn, I am glad to hear you got a cheap UV filter; I was just schooled when I ordered my 50mm....UV not needed for digital cams. There are clear ones now that will cover off the 'protection of lens' angle. Ticks me off a teeny bit that I was sold UV filters for my 2 other lenses at a cam shop in Calgary. A shop I loved.

@shutterbugger ~ Oh ya, bright sun I should try next time. Sometimes hard to come by in the Maritimes though. ;)

@jgoldrup Same place I got mine. Henry's wanted $20 for a filter...so I jumped at getting one for under $5. Good to know about the glass. Where did you get your 50? That's next on my list!

thanks Janna, I took a look and have bookmarked it! appreciate it :)

@shutterbugger ~ At Atlantic Photo Supply. I think it's a franchise-type chain, though, with the 'Atlantic' part replaced with something locally relevant. Under $5? Good on you. I will likely pay more for a clear filter at Atlantic. Won't order one on ebay all buy it's lonesome.

@laurentye ~No problem...Jenn gave it to me in the first place!
