I'm not in any rush to upload my pathetic weekend photographic efforts. This is actually the better of the two. I wasted much of Sunday in bed...perhaps something to do with this empty wine bottle. I will often buy a wine just because I like the label and, had I noticed the spelling error in the store, I might've bought more. I quite like selectively colouring something with red, but thought the inversion was better. Did you know that bright red inverts to brilliant turquoise?
I'm currently situated in Victoria, having previously lived in Beijing, Halifax, Chilliwack, Calgary, Vancouver and growing up in Northwestern Ontario. My aim with photography is...
cool. sorry you were stuck in bed! been there! LOL
I often buy bottles for a cool label or cool name, and sometimes am pleasantly surprised, and others, well.... at least it was a cool bottle.
Lovely shot!
For a while there all I bought was Yellow Tail because I loved the picture of the Roo! Did drinking this make you feel as sexy as that woman looks? False advertising I'd say....it's never worked for me.
I didn't know that about turquoise, but I DO know that greens turn the most lovely shade of purple :)
well for a girl who does love selected color very often, i really do in this case! Also, I don't think it is a typigraphical error... is the wine a blend of a few types? Just a thought. Anyway, I do really like your photo! feel better :)
I've never tried any Califoria's. Seriously? How does that get printed on a label and shipped out en masse? Grrrr. Irritating. Anyways, I'll put my OCD aside for the moment and say that I dig your inversion and what it's done to the neck of the bottle there. I totally buy bottles based on the label art too:)
@jgoldrup We've had it a couple of times and it was great. I'll check to see if they still have it and let you know. I'll send you a bottle if I find it.
