It's a lightpost and some sky.

I thought you might appreciate it if I left my desk to take my Sunday photo. I did, but missed the sunset. Voila - lightpost and sky at the Dartmouth waterfront. I've noticed that my p&s doesn't record images in 4x6 ratio like my DSLR does...I cropped this one from some larger size. I wonder why the cameras are different...and how to change one or the other...or if I should change one or the other...or neither. Anyone?

@pwallis ~ I think the answer might be to keep the image as large as possible so you have more cropping options in the future. But, I always crop to 4x6, so figured out how to make my p&s capture images using that ratio.
