The Halifax Public Gardens is now open for the no-snow season. The main gate throws a great shadow. I would've liked to include some feet headed in the opposite direction on the other side of the path too, but randomness wasn't working in my favour here.

this is crazy, it looks like a CGI picture, like a disney horror film with the castle looming and its shadow creeping over the hero of the story accompanied by some gloomy orchestral music. Or am I reading too much into it.

@lbmcshutter ~You definitely should go...you'd love the birds there. And most are super easy to photograph too. Maybe not in ideal lighting situations, though....
