The neighbours.

This historic boutique hotel always has a nearly over-the-top Christmas display. No moving parts on it this year, though. I was a bit Scroogey and didn't put up any decorations this year, but am heading to a decorated place tomorrow - weather permitting.
goodness - they really went to town, didn't they! nicely done... what's the weather like in your part of the world?

@northy I would say that it is misting out there right now, but will eventually be freezing rain. I hope it thaws out over there soon - the photos I've seen have been pretty dramatic. One of kids skating down a street (Kingston, maybe?)!

@jgoldrup yup - that was kingston... i'm in Toronto... we've been lucky - we still have power (touch wood)... lots here without, and the transit system is a mess... but nature has been pretty (altho' one feels rather daring going out of doors as branches just seem to come crashing down out of nowhere!)

Love your POV. Kids are skating all around Oshawa today! It was crazy here. Trees down everywhere. Power out everywhere. Except at my place. Hosting some poor cold people now :)

@northy Ya, the TO shots I saw weren't as interesting (e.g.., shots of frozen TTC cars), but I bet there's a lot of cool ones I haven't seen!

@slang Kind of you! Or are you charging them cover? Haha. I don't think losing power has been an issue in NS....some of NB, though.

I've seen a reporter from Hali that is all over the freezing rain. You aren't getting it?! Is he lying and using a green screen!? This place looks lovely and you've got a great pov

@shutterbugger ~ Maybe it turned messier after I left in the early morning of the 23rd...? I thought it was only supposed to rain that day, though.
