Anytime I come upon a gardenia flower I have to smell it, it has such a wonderful aroma but it also reminds me of my Mother-In-Law. She had a potted plant on her front porch and I think it was the first time I had ever encountered this beautiful flower, although it was many years ago it still reminds me of her.
