Our baby wattle birds have hatched! I had a about 10 minutes today to devote to getting a shot so it a walk into the back yard to see how our little family is doing. These parents wont let me get very close to the nest but I can see that they are feeling the little ones.
Jodie, this is such a stunning picture! You're storming! I'm thinking you've been studying the art a lot recently! Your pictures are just getting better and better! This is beautiful!
@janemartin Thanks so much Jane, lately I have really been leaving my shots to the last minute hoping something will turn up. I'm just lucky to have so much beautiful nature around me.
@onewing Thanks Babs, I'm going to have a peek in the nest soon I think, the parents are very protective of the nest and I will need a ladder to see into it, but I will let you know.
