This one is for the macro challenge, it was a nice opportunity to get out all these wonderful old coins that my husband has collected over the years. Remember when one cent could still buy something, I must be getting old!
I love the old coins. Our British ones used to be much bigger than our current coins. Few lose coppers as we called them, would fill the palm of your hand! Now they are so small, I guess that's because lose change has virtually no value now! Can't get much under a pound!....Now I sound really old! Fab shot...will no doubt get everyone talking!
Nice composition and lighting. I remember when we could buy half penny sweets. Go to the shop with 20p and come back with 40 mojos. Good, now I feel old 😄😄
The tones you have captured remind me of the silky/greasy feel of old British coins of similar age. I spent 60p today taking myself and my boys to the loo at the station - whatever happened to 'spending a penny'?!!
Great photo
