@kass thank U--lensbaby can do both,u can focus (think, they call it the "sweet spot")and U can unfocus or blur the image..i prefer, of course the blur-I also increase and intentionally over exposed the lighting-to get rid the background.Check this link: http://lensbaby.com/videos-instructional
