looks like they had to jump off a wooden cliff after they parked. VW's are nostalgic for me because we always had one when I was a kid. My dignified mother was going to put daisies on her VW bug after an accident once and her friends called her up and said "NO, they'll think you're a hippy." That would have been an unlikely mistake. But we got a new orange beetle instead of daisies.... and piled in to drive all over the country.
This is fab, I have Beach Boys' Surfin' Safari earworming me as I view. Fav for the fun composition, cute little buggy, happy colours... and the earworm!
Of your images that I have seen in this series far this is my favourite. I like the obvious link between the buggy and the surfers, yet isolated by the colour intensity and focus.
