We've been warned to evacuate but where to is the problem and besides its not easy to find a pet friendly hotels at the very last minute,I've been checking different places since yesterday and I guess, we're stuck here and will say "hello" to Hurricane Matthew:( -it's very scary & stressful listening to the weather news for 4 days now and I'm getting panicky but my handy neighbor cheered me up after I saw him covering his windows with this artsy installation.. The window reminds me of "Rauschenberg".My windows were all plastic taped too in case they shattered..
I'm praying and crossing my fingers that Matthew won't be such a bitch:(!!
Good luck, and fingers crossed that Matthew gives you just a glancing blow or by passes you. Not sure where you are exactly, so not sure which direction it needs to move in to avoid you.
Good grief...I thought you would be long gone. Please stay safe and keep your dog calm too. Take care!! In Seattle, the earthquakes come without warning so no planning ahead for safety.
It is scary watching the weather channel. I wish you and Inga the best. Wish u could have found somewhere. My sister and Bff live on coast as well. Near Jacksonville. They r staying. Hopefully u r higher up. Best 🏖
Great boarding up a window shot. My daughter and her family have a dog, too, and are staying put with a boarded up house. She is not in a evacuation zone and is about 7 miles away from the shore. I just heard she is doing well so far and the wind isn't terrible yet. I hope everything will be okay where you are. It does sound scary.
Good luck to you Joey -- I hope you and pets are safe and sound. It's one scary looking storm so please post as you get a chance, to let us know how you are doing.
Cool shot! I'm hoping you were as lucky as we were. We did evacuate; our son made us a reservation in Orlando and we took the 3 cats, who were not happy. . . . Our town had little damage, but the photos from up the coast are so sad.
@eudora glad u were okey & it's over now,---we had minor flood in the dining area cause of the broken windows & our deck was totally whacked off from the strong wind, no water & power for many days but I braved & made it:)!
