“I love that you get cold when it's 71 degrees out. I love that it takes you an hour and a half to order a sandwich. I love that you get a little crinkle above your nose when you're looking at me like I'm nuts. I love that after I spend the day with you, I can still smell your perfume on my clothes. And I love that you are the last person I want to talk to before I go to sleep at night. And it's not because I'm lonely, and it's not because it's New Year's Eve. I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.”
― Nora Ephron, When Harry Met Sally
What a perfectly timed composition. Black and white suits it well and it is the brightness of the white that adds a sense of mystery to the shot, which is a nice reversal from the norm. Fav!!!!
You know jdM, I have been wondering what it is exactly about your photos/art that make them so very special.......it's not just the processing or the photo itself, I feel personally, it's the "space" that you have in your photos. It gives an instant feeling of calmness and serenity. Have you ever thought of having your art in a gallery? They are really quite exquisite :-) FAV
@leanne333 I so agree with Leanne, it reminds me the comment I heard from a poet lately that the beauty and meanings are in the gap, so here is in the space.
@leanne333 Love, serenity, peace and calmness is really, really what I wanted to share thru my images but sometimes it's difficult to do so—have to spice 'it up with blurry/abstract genre not to bore the audience- 'bout the exhibit,i'm thinking that i should give it a try-thanks, appreciate your sweet comment:)p.s.-just call me Joey- jDM is too formal,hA!:)
@joemuli Well, Joey, you are most certainly achieving your goal. You do create the " Love, serenity, peace and calmness" perfectly and I don't feel you bore anyone with your photos, I most certainly am not bored and neither as so many others. That's why just about all of your photos are on the Trending Page, well done and well deserved :-) When you have you exhibition, please make sure to share photos of it. Good luck and have fun with it :-)
Joey, I so agree with everything Leanne has said. Every day it look forward to your wonderful images. They create a sense of well being and calm so you've achieved what you want. The cyclist haloed by the light is wonderful
