Empty boots carry a lot of meaning for anyone that's been a part of the military...and there's no sader site than a set of boots set out for a lost comrade of arms with a rifle, a helmet, and sometimes a set of dog tags. Thanks for posting this pic.

Military boots...always a mix of emotions: sadness, pride, anger. Did volunteer work with WWII vets for five years, so mostly it is pride.
