An alternative six word caption could be "Watch out for the stupid dog"!! But that's very very unfair to the dog.
Original title was? "An iPhone photo of an iPad which had an image of my right femur bone."
The orthopaedic surgeon at the hospital showed me this. I was taken there on Sunday night by an ambulance after an accident. This was my only injury and the surgeon and the trauma team spent 5 hours on surgery last night to start to put it right. Bugger!
Nasty break I hope you heal well. That’s a bad place for the break. Take is ever so slow we all take longer to heal now that we have a few more years on us
Thanks for the much appreciated comments and kind thoughts. I’ve spent more time in hospital this year than in my previous 75 years. And then some. This time it is going well and should be home in six weeks.

Thanks for commenting. The boredom here is relieved by going through 44,000 photos and forcing myself to delete rubbish, duplicates and totally unknown stuff and playing around with editing. Finding photos each day is a challenge though so I will be uploading some stuff from October. From here I go to rehab and I’ll be home by Christmas!!!
@johnfalconer believe me I know the boredom that comes with being stuck in a hospital bed and room on your own. You do get creative with your time though. One time I was stuck in a room with the view if a brick wall, and spent my week watching a stick insect climbing a drain pipe... it made it, but after that, Foxtel entertained me.
Oh, John! I am so sorry to see this! This was no minor incident! Yikes! I recently had an x-ray of my painful knee. Turns out, its stage 4 arthritis and I didn't like the sound of that! I hope you heal fast!
Oh, John! That looks very broken -- here's wishes to you it heals quickly and completely. I've broken 9 bones in my adult life so I'm too familiar with such pain.
Chris @cdcook48 mentioned in a post that you were hurt, but no details.
Sorry to hear about your accident. I hope that all the king's men were able to put you back together again and that you mend quickly John!
Oh goodness me I am so sorry to learn about your accident. I have been completely off social media and hardly even taken any photos lately so I have had to really go back in time to find out why you are in hospital. Wishing you all the best for a full recovery, although broken bones are seldom going to be a speedy recovery.

So honestly, whose fault was it?
