Looking down the barrel of a 25lb mark II field gun. The gun was donated for a war memorial in 1983 by the School of Artillery, which was in nearby Manly,NSW. The school was relocated 22 years ago.
My father was in the Royal Artillery from 1939 to 1945 and his unit used these types of guns in Europe.
