Old building commemoration stones.

SOOC.
Opposite modern buildings near the botanical gardens is a grassy hill which has the commemorative stones of a lot of buildings which seem to have been built in the 1920s!
I’ve lived in Sydney off and on forever but I’ve never seen this weird memorial to the olde buildings.
